My Story
Nikki McBride is one of DFW’s leading interior designer-builder integrators, with deep roots in design, renovations, custom builds, and advanced home technology, including audio-video, automation, security, and pre-wiring.
Her creative journey began at the tender age of five. “I remember as a very young girl, before I fell asleep, imagining the color of my house, the fence, and the car I would drive. I’ve always seen beauty in the simple things. I love taking ordinary objects and turning them into something extraordinary.” That early imagination became the foundation of a lifelong passion.
Over the years, Nikki persistently pursued her artistic and interior design calling. With more than 25 years of experience in interior design and renovations, she and her husband, David, have built a powerful professional partnership. Together, they uniquely integrate technology into interior design, renovation, and new construction projects. In 2011, they opened their own retail store, fully designed by Nikki herself.
For nearly a decade, Nikki and David proudly served the Grand Prairie community along Lake Ridge Parkway. In 2017, by the grace of God, Nikki became the developer, designer, and builder of their own stunning custom home, with David faithfully supporting her every step of the way.
Nikki is also the proud author of Created to Build by Nikki, available on Amazon. Her proven track record includes managing multimillion-dollar residential and commercial properties. Nikki and her husband has been dedicated to delivering top-tier audio-video, design and technology solutions. Their distinguished client list includes talk show host Dr. Phil, Bishop T.D. Jakes, former Coach Walters of the Philadelphia Eagles, several NFL and NBA athletes, the Omni Hotel, and countless amazing families seeking a better home environment.
Their work has been featured on CBS’s Superstar Renovations, where they partnered with NBA star LaMarcus Aldridge, Coach Allen, and Jason Cameron of the DIY Network.
